Photographic Safaris

Photographic Safaris in Limpopo

Marula Game offers photographic safaris on a 24,700-acre family-owned Bushveld reserve near Steenbokpan in Limpopo. The same large blocks that make our hunting honest make for outstanding, uncrowded wildlife photography — with dedicated waterhole hides, exclusive-use eco lodges, and a quiet operation that puts you alone with the bush.

What you can expect to see

  • • Cape buffalo from our own breeding herds
  • • Kudu, gemsbok, impala, wildebeest, zebra, warthog, giraffe and more at the waterholes
  • • Sable and roan antelope — striking subjects for serious photographers
  • • Outstanding Bushveld birdlife

Hides and access

Purpose-built waterhole hides give close, eye-level access to animals drinking through the day — ideal for telephoto and wide-environmental shots alike. Guided drives across the reserve cover multiple habitats from open plains to thick mopane.

Who it's for

Photographic safaris are ideal for non-hunting partners travelling with a hunter, dedicated wildlife photographers, and families who want an authentic, low-impact African experience. Combine a few photographic days with a hunting party's safari, or come purely for the cameras.
