Eco-Tourism
Marula Game is more than a hunting destination. Across 10,000 hectares of working Limpopo bushveld near Steenbokpan, we open the doors of a real game ranch to our guests — from hands-on conservation work alongside our wildlife team to game drives, photographic hides and dinners under the stars. Whether you're a hunter's partner, a family, a photographer or a traveller who simply wants to get closer to Africa, there's something here for you. Every experience is available to hunting and non-hunting guests alike, and offered on a price-on-request basis — tell us who's coming and we'll build a programme around your stay.
The experiences money usually can't buy: a chance to stand alongside a wildlife veterinarian during real conservation operations on our farms. These aren't staged for tourists — they're part of how we manage, protect and grow our wildlife. Always led by a qualified wildlife vet, with animal welfare as the absolute priority.
Dehorning · Notching · DNA
Join our team and a wildlife vet for one of conservation's most important — and moving — operations: the dehorning, ear-notching and DNA sampling of rhino to protect them from poaching. From the helicopter dart to the moment the animal stands and walks away unharmed, you'll witness firsthand the lengths it takes to keep these animals alive. A rare, humbling experience and a direct contribution to their survival.
