Yes. Walk-and-stalk, free-roaming game across 24,700 acres. We are PHASA members and Chris Burger sits on the PHASA Executive Committee. No canned or put-and-take hunts.

Cape buffalo (the flagship), kudu, sable, roan, eland, gemsbok, waterbuck, nyala, zebra, wildebeest, impala and the full plains-game spectrum. Colour variants and exotic plains game on request.

If there is a particular animal you wish to hunt, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Almost anything is possible.

Absolutely. You'll need a SAPS 520 temporary firearm import permit, issued on arrival at OR Tambo. We send a complete rifle-import pack with your booking confirmation and can arrange a meet-and-assist agent at the airport. Rifles are also available to hire at the lodge.

For plains game, anything from .270 upwards in good controlled-expansion bullets. For Cape buffalo, .375 H&H is the legal minimum — we recommend .416 or .458 with quality solids and softs (Barnes TSX, Swift A-Frame, Woodleigh).

We spare no effort to track and recover every animal. Animals wounded and not recovered are charged the full trophy fee — this is standard practice and reflects the seriousness of the shot.

Plains-game hunts run 5–7 days. Cape buffalo hunts are 7–10 days. Dangerous game combos (buffalo + sable) run 10–14 days. We can tailor any duration.

Lodge accommodation, all meals, beverages in moderation, your licensed Professional Hunter, tracker, skinner, 4×4 hunting vehicle, JNB/Polokwane transfers, firearm import assistance, field prep and delivery to taxidermist, and all CITES & hunting permits.

Trophy fees (per animal taken or wounded), international airfare, taxidermy and trophy shipping, dip & pack, ammunition, gratuities, and any special permit fees.

Field prep is included. We deliver your trophies to a licensed taxidermist (we recommend African taxidermists). Dip-and-pack, full mounts and shipping to your country are arranged on your behalf — quoted separately.

Yes. Observer rates include lodge access, meals and all eco-tourism activities — game drives, bush walks, sundowners, stargazing and the spa-like quiet of the Bushveld.

Not included. Recommended: PH $150–$250 per day, Tracker & Skinner $50–$100 per day, camp staff at your discretion. Always appreciated, never expected.

50% of daily rates due at booking, with 50% of dangerous-game trophy fees due at booking for confirmed quota species. Balance settled 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits are non-refundable but hunts may be rescheduled to a subsequent season subject to a rescheduling fee.
