The heart of the farm — thatched boma, pool & open-air dining
Marula is the heart of the reserve — a thatched main lodge built around an open-air boma, swimming pool and stone fireplaces, with five bedrooms running off the central wings.
It's where larger parties come together: long dining tables under the thatch, sundowners at the firepit, and the kitchen team plating up game meat, fresh breads and South African classics.
The setting — Marula homestead
The homestead sits among old marula and leadwood trees on the central farm, with views down toward the waterhole. It's a working bushveld setting — game moves through the camp in the cooler hours and the boma fire runs late into the night.
